We are a well-established moving & transport company located in the heart of Upper Hutt - we know our way around! Our motto is having the right people at the right time, in the right place and our goal is to help get Wellington moving. We offer small to large-scale relocations for both home and office, transport solutions for goods, secure storage facilities, as well as furniture delivery and removal.

We can move any sized house, apartment or flat. We have experienced packers and furniture removers that can move your precious belongings across suburbs, regions and across New Zealand. Hammond Transport also provides packing services at an additional cost for your convenience.

Needing Storage?

We provide both personal and business storage to suit your needs. Our storage facility is secure and accessible 24/7 for ease and convenience. Our storage units are located on three bases in Upper Hutt and Trentham. When you become a storage customer, you’ll also receive free use of our enclosed trailer to move your things there.

GENERAL CARTAGE

As general carriers, we can transport close to anything. From large personal items such as spa pools and pianos, through to industrial equipment or raw materials such as steel and wood; we’ve got you or your business covered. For general cartage, we can charge by the hour or by quote.

We employed Hammond's to shift us from Avalon to Stokes Valley. They phoned when they were on the way, and apologised that they were a few minutes late. When they arrived they were straight into it, and they really entertained with their banter and great humour, plus they showed great skill and teamwork. As of today, we have found nothing broken.
